Welcome

I'm Rebecca, an artist who uses many mediums to create paintings inspired by nature. I primarily work in watercolor and I live in Virginia Beach. The dynamic coastal life, along with having a garden here, lends infinite inspiration for my work. I'm particularly fond of gritty textures and soft downy feathers.

You may have seen my work at the  68th VA MOCA Boardwalk Art Show, but if you are new to discovering me please enjoy getting to know me through my website!

In my blog, you can find inspiration and advice for your artistic journey. If you would just like to observe my work , please enjoy my several online galleries of work. Prints are available in my shop.

Feel free to explore my most recent prints of wondrous subjects.  From land to sea, our natural world is full of a vast variety of interesting  textures and vibrant colors. Of which, I enjoy translating to paper with delicate brush strokes and layers of paint.

Something to look forward to.

Animal prints have been a timeless classic for nursery design. Baby animals are not only cute, but give an element of adventure and promise of an exciting world outside of the nursery.

As an artist and business owner,  I want to contribute in ways that I can to help our world flourish.  I have donated work to past conservation efforts and have a future opportunity to help in the area of mental health. I will be sharing more of that experience soon.

I will continue to be open to inquiries and will seek ways to aid the conservation and betterment of our planet for future generations.
